Air rifle TAIPAN VETERAN COMPACT 6.35mm

The Taipan Veteran belongs among the favorite models of Bullpup type, which have gained great popularity among shooters. Upon closer examination of individual components, such as the trigger mechanism, the high level of their processing is evident. This model often exceeds much more expensive air rifles in its execution. The package includes two magazines, a single-shot adapter, and a quick fill adapter for convenient air filling.

Two main innovations of this weapon relate to reloading. The first innovation is a mechanism that prevents the reloading of the same pellet, thereby eliminating the risk of accidentally clogging the barrel. The second innovation focuses on the construction of the barrel and air hole to prevent pellet deformation during shooting.

For mounting a scope, the air rifle is equipped with a 22mm Weaver rail, located in the center of the rifle and tilted at a 20 MOA angle for better sight alignment. The barrel is finished with a quality moderator, attached using a 1/2 UNF thread. Beneath the barrel lies a high-capacity air cylinder, which runs almost the entire length of the rifle and is finished with a Wika pressure gauge. The cylinder capacity is 225 cm³, allowing for plenty of shots on a single fill.

The current pressure during filling is indicated on the gauge in BAR units. At the front of the rifle, there is a quick fill adapter hole for easy and fast air filling.

The rifle is loaded using a side lever cocking mechanism, which is very precise and easy to operate. This mechanism can be easily moved to the other side of the rifle, which will be appreciated especially by left-handed shooters. The trigger mechanism is very well crafted and allows for adjustment of trigger resistance and position according to the shooter's individual needs. A manual safety is located in front of the trigger for increased safety. Beech stocks, manufactured in Spain, are finished with an aesthetically pleasing rubber butt pad, which increases shooting comfort.

The "compact" version of this rifle is very lightweight and compact, with a total weight of just 3050 g. All Taipan brand air rifles are assembled and finished in the Czech Republic, ensuring their high quality of processing.

From a practical standpoint, the Taipan Veteran is a very well-crafted Bullpup-style air rifle. Its great advantage is the German Lothar Walther barrels, which provide high shooting accuracy. Testing has shown that shooting is very accurate, and the large air reservoir allows for long shooting times without the need for frequent air refills.
